Bike and Roll to School Day is on Wednesday, May 6th! This year, Safe Kids North Central Florida, along with your High Springs Fire and Police Departments and other wonderful community partners, is excited to introduce the brand-new High Springs Bike Bus! It's a fun and exciting way to get to school safely.
What exactly is a "Bike Bus"? Well, it’s a group bike ride led by adults that follows a set route and schedule. Did you know bike buses are popular all around the world? Join the celebration of National Bike and Roll to School Day by riding with us on the High Springs Bike Bus!
We’ve got two routes for you:
The 'Downtown Route' starts at the Old School Community Center, then heads to the Civic Center, and finally makes its way out to Main Street.
The 'Bailey Route' begins at the entrance to Bailey Estates on NW 190th Avenue, making several fun stops through the neighborhood before converging with the Downtown group at the Community School, where some surprise guests will be waiting to welcome everyone!
Are you excited to join the ride? Check out the full list of stops, a map, and FAQs below!
