Squad 29, a 2024 Chevy 5500/D.E.V. Medium Rescue, serves as the main response vehicle for medical emergencies, vehicle crashes with entrapment, and technical rescues. It also responds to all structure fires within city limits. This Advanced Life Support (ALS) rescue unit is equipped with extrication tools (commonly known as Jaws of Life), scene lighting, ventilation fans, and medical gear, including a cardiac monitor.
