If you are a city water customer and experience a water or sewer problem, it's crucial that you report it promptly. Please call the main city number, 386-454-1416, and select option 1.

Be sure to include your name and address of the incident. Our technician, who may be working when you submit your incident, will get to you just as quickly as possible.
Please limit water and wastewater use, especially flushing toilets, to reduce strain on your system. Remember: Anything you use still goes to your grinder basin, but without power, the grinder pumps are not running. You have roughly 500 gallons of space in the basin. But once it's full, it may begin backflowing into your home.

If you have a generator, many grinder control boxes have a connection for a generator to plug into. The pumps that have it are 240v, while any others are typically 120v. You'll need a Nema L14-20 plug to hook your generator to the control box.

Once the control box is powered, the grinder pump should kick on and start pumping down your grinder basin. The alarm may go off, so look for the silence button on the bottom or side of the control box and press it.
