FEMA has opened two Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) in Alachua County, including one in High Springs, for those who were impacted by Hurricane Helene.

 

 

Due to limited FEMA resources, each location will only be open on specific days and hours, and those days/times may be subject to change.

 

 

The High Springs center, located at the Old School Community Center, 23760 NW 187th Avenue, will be open Mon-Wed 10am-7pm.

 

 

(This location will also be open on Thursday 11/14 10AM-7PM only, then will continue the regular schedule)

FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) are facilities you can visit to learn more about FEMA and other disaster assistance programs or to get updates on your current or rejected FEMA applications.

 

 

A DRC may be able to help you:

• Apply for assistance from FEMA or other programs

• Learn more about disaster assistance programs.

• Learn the status of your FEMA application.

• Understand any letters you get from FEMA.

• Find housing and rental assistance information.

• Get answers to questions or resolve problems.

• Get referrals to agencies that may offer other assistance.

• Learn about Small Business Administration (SBA)
