Good morning, Idalia strengthened into a hurricane overnight.

Weather conditions will begin to deteriorate this evening with increasing, strong winds and heavy rain coming into Wednesday morning.

Now is the time to complete your preparations.

A few reminders:

-Sandbags are available until 7PM at Memorial Park, 17380 NW US Hwy 441. LIMIT 10. Please bring your own shovel and serve yourself. Limited staff will be available to assist the elderly.

-Shelter information will be released at 10AM this morning.

-Garbage collection will run as scheduled today. Wednesday trash is scheduled to be picked up on THURSDAY, along with the regular Thursday collection. There will be no yard trash picked up this week. **BRING IN YOUR CANS TONIGHT!**
