Storm conditions have improved locally. While utility companies continue to restore power, the following actions are being taken:
- All shelters are now closed.
- The mandatory evacuation order for mobile or manufactured homes has been rescinded.
-Curbside waste collection services will resume tomorrow, Thursday, August 31st. All WEDNESDAY garbage will also be picked up tomorrow.
-The 311 Critical Information Line has been deactivated.
-Alachua County schools will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, August 31st.
