
*TROPICAL STORM ELSA UPDATE # 06*

A Tropical Storm WARNING is now in effect for Alachua County.
As of the 11AM advisory, TS Elsa was located about 340 miles S of High Springs, moving NNW at 10 MPH, with maximum sustained winds of 60 MPH, gusting to 70 MPH.
2-4 inches of heavy rain, with spot 6 inch amounts are forecast. Gusty winds of 40-50 MPH are possible ahead of Elsa this afternoon and evening. Tropical Storm force winds will begin tonight or tomorrow morning.
Gusty winds and heavy rain will likely lead to power outages. To report a power outage:
