As of the 5PM advisory, Tropical Storm Helene is about 700 miles south of High Springs and moving west-northwest at 12 MPH. 

A Hurricane WATCH and Flood WATCH remain in effect. 

Sustained winds 25-35 mph with gusts to 45 mph are possible in the watch area. 

4-6 inches of rain with isolated higher amounts are currently forecast. 

Sandbags will be available Wednesday, September 25th, from 8 AM to 5 PM at Memorial Park, 17380 NW US HWY 441. There is a strict limit of TEN BAGS. Volunteers are scheduled to be on-site to assist, but it will otherwise be a self-serve site. Please bring your own shovel. Be considerate of others and only take what you need.
