- Except for emergency services, all High Springs city offices and parks will be CLOSED on Tuesday, August 29th, and Wednesday, August 30th.

- Sandbags will be available at Memorial Park 7AM-7PM, Tuesday, August 29th. LIMIT 10 BAGS. Please bring your own shovel.

- Wednesday garbage collection is suspended. Wednesday and Thursday garbage will both be picked up on Thursday. There will be NO yard debris picked up this week. Storm debris procedures will be communicated at a later date.

- To avoid flying debris, please remove ALL YARD SIGNS by tomorrow afternoon.

- Alachua County will be opening general population, pet-friendly shelters, and a special medical needs shelter at 10AM Tuesday morning, August 29th. If you feel like you will need to go to a shelter, now is the time to start getting your supplies ready to go. Information on which shelters will be open will be announced tomorrow morning.
