Recently, all members of the High Springs Police Department formulated a Traffic Safety Slogan for the City of High Springs. Each Member of the Agency was tasked with the responsibility of submitting a Traffic Safety Slogan which they felt best exemplifies the commitment to Traffic Safety in High Springs. The Traffic Safety Slogans were anonymously compiled and each Member made their final selection. “Ensuring a Safe Community Through Traffic Safety” outscored the next closest slogan by a margin of 4 to 1.
The new Traffic Safety Slogan and High Springs Police Department badge will be proudly depicted on a 3′ x 8′ banner and displayed at the intersection of NW Santa Fe Boulevard and Main Street, one of the City’s most highly traveled intersections.
According to the Chief of Police, “The ultimate goal is that the Traffic Safety Slogan will get you thinking about the importance of Traffic Safety in High Springs. Many car accidents caused every day are preventable!”
