K-9 Officer Jon Fricke has been with the High Springs Police Department since 2017. Officer Fricke's partner, K-9 Brix, joined the agency in 2019. K-9 Brix is trained in patrol (human and building search) and narcotics. Brix and Officer Fricke are certified through Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and Florida Law Enforcement Canine Association (FLECA.) The pair have also attended a US Army Special Forces school.
