FEMA has opened a Disaster Recovery Center in High Springs.

Utility Billing

To Open a New Utility Account

  • Completed Utility Service Application - Utility Application
  • Full Deposit required - Online New Utility Account Deposit
  • Drivers License or Florida ID
  • Social Security Card or Tax Document
  • Homeowner – proof of ownership such as warranty deed
  • Renter – provide a copy of the rental agreement

Return completed applications to City Hall, Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-6:00PM or email to billing [at] highsprings.gov (billing[at]highsprings[dot]gov) 

Residential

  • Homes with water, sewer, and garbage:  $100
  • Homes with water and garbage: $100
  • Homes with garbage only: $50

Commercial

  • Businesses with water, sewer, and garbage:  $200
  • Businesses with water and garbage: $200
  • Businesses with garbage only: $100

Garbage

  • Garbage is collected on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, depending on your location. 
  • Yard debris is collected citywide on Wednesday
  • Recycling is collected citywide on Friday
