The City of High Springs has implemented accepting credit cards, debit cards, and electronic check payments. Payments are processed by an independent company that is in partnership with the City of High Springs to process utility payments.

The card processor assesses a convenience fee of $3.50 for all online payment transactions including debit/credit card transactions.

The City of High Springs does not receive any portion of the convenience fee. Under Florida State Statute, the City as a unit of local government has the option to partner with a third party to provide this service. Reference Florida State Statute 215.322
