Voter registration is handled by the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections. Voter registration applications are available on the Supervisor of Elections' website.

Please note that the last day to register to vote or update your information to vote in the City of High Springs Special Election is February 26, 2024.

 

The upcoming Special Election will be March 26, 2024 for High Springs City Commission Seats # 2.

The City of High Springs City Clerk’s Office would like to remind High Springs voters, who would like to Vote-By Mail in the March 26th election, that 5 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024, is the deadline to request a ballot be mailed to them.  

Voters who reside in the City of High Springs may request a Vote-By-Mail Ballot by clicking here. Voters may email the City Clerk's Office at cityclerk [at] highsprings.gov or call 386-454-1416 option 6 to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot. (To receive a VOTE-BY -MAIL BALLOT FOR MUNICIPAL ONLY ELECTIONS YOU MUST REQUEST THROUGH THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE).

Voted ballots may be returned by mail or in person but must be received by 7 p.m. on election night. Ballots may be returned in person to City Hall during normal business hours (M-Th, 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) and on election day, March 26th until 7 p.m.

We urge voters to read and follow the instructions included with Vote-By-Mail ballots to ensure their ballots are counted. Voters should complete and sign the ballot certificate envelope and the voter’s signature should match the signature on record.

Voters who would like to vote in person may do so on Tuesday, March 26th; the polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Bring a valid picture and signature identification. All City of High Springs residents may vote on election day at their assigned polling location, Precinct 20 (High Springs Civic Center), or Precinct 60 (First United Methodist Church).
